University High School

Our Mission and Vision

Vision

Thank you for your commitment to making University High School, “A Place of Higher Learning” where our focus is on student achievement.

University is a place with high expectations for all students, faculty and staff where teachers and students work together to build a strong, academic foundation based on national and international standards.

University strives to provide a rigorous and relevant high school experience with the character, climate, culture and curricula of a high-quality college or university. The Latin phrase, “Contio Laureata,” exemplifies our University philosophy: Each classroom is “An assembly of honored scholars.”

University High School is committed to establishing a cooperative and lasting partnership between home, school and the community to assist our students in acquiring an education similar to a major college or university. This commitment is evident in our mission and belief statements, which were developed as part of the school improvement process.
